Sydney Dance Organisers

This is a list of all the other organisers (and their upcoming dances from the Dance Calendar) I’m aware of who provide dance events in and around Sydney for the dance style of Swing. Note that Swing includes Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, Balboa, Charleston, Black Bottom and even Blues.

The Jitterbug Club	Holds classes at Marrickville (Mondays) and Baulkham Hills (Wednesdays) for Swing / Lindy Hop.
The Wriggle Room	The Wriggle Room run solo jazz on Wednesdays, balboa on Thursdays, monthly shag workshops, monthly balboa & shag social and available for studio hire.
Swing Central	Dancing every third Friday of the month in Surry Hills. Part of Swing Patrol.
Swing Patrol	Swing in North Sydney on Tuesdays.
Blue Rhythm Band	Andrew Dickeson’s Blue Rhythm Band is a band for dancers. They do what Basie did. They play 4 solid beats to the bar and no cheating!
Swingtime	Lindy hop lessons on Tuesdays in Leichhardt.
Jukebox Blues	Run blues nights (with beginner lesson) at the Different Drummer, Glebe.
Jazz at the Freeway	Saturday Jazz – on the 1st and 3rd week of the month from 2pm-5pm in Artarmon just off the Freeway!
Sydney Lindy Exchange	Sydney Lindy Exchange are running a weekend of dancing in Sydney at the end of August 2024.
